Alongside the recent Spring Budget, HM Treasury (HMT) and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) published a summary of responses to last year’s consultation on introduction of the Reserved Investor Fund (RIF). This includes the conclusions drawn and a commitment that the implementing legislation will be included in the forthcoming Finance Bill. This process started with 2020 Budget speech when the government announced a wide-ranging review of the UK’s funds regime. Since then, we have seen a plethora of changes including the introduction of the Long-Term Asset Fund, unlisted REITs, Qualifying Asset Holding Companies and now the Reserved Investor Fund. 

This webinar will look at the new fund vehicles, the changes in the nature of investment capital that make them necessary and some of the issues to address in setting them up and operating them.
